Lloyd and Jason of Taylor Earnshaw were thrilled to win this amazing project of converting Mr and Mrs Batt's long standing, unused barn into what will be their beautiful family home.
Converting barns and other outbuildings has become a tradition in itself across the south east of England. Conversion allows decaying and redundant buildings, some with significant historic interest, to be preserved for future generations. Making these buildings habitable provides an opportunity to add a new layer to this history as well as reusing and reinventing these spaces.
This barn and land has been in the family for generations and Lloyd and Jason were honoured to build the main structure. It has been such a pleasure to convert a piece of farming history into a beautiful home that our customer and family will enjoy for years to come.
